Wonderful Location- once you can find it! When we approached up the very narrow Rue Au Lait the hotel is in front of you, but as the signage is only 60 cm and 5 metres up in the air pointing end on towards you, it is impossible to see where the Hotel is. Even the locals do not know it is there. My Wife and I had been circling the old town for an hour trying to determine a strategy to get in and in desperation asked two men to assist. They took us through the bollards with some difficulty but could not find the hotel. In fact, at the foot of Rue Au Lait you turn left, up the hill, into Rue des Acacias, which would bring you back to the South east side of the Cathedral, and immediately reverse through a set of gates on the right which had been invisible as they too are facing up hill. I suggest that you have a good look at the satellite hybrid map of the city centre around the Cathedral as the hotel building can be seen, just off the Rue des Acacias, running NW to SE some 120 metres directly to the right of the point where the two roof lines of the Cathedral cross (the Nave?). My strategy for getting through the bollards, either in the Rue Percheronne, in front of the Cathedral or Rue du Bourg is to drive right upto the bollard, because if you do not, then the press buttons to speak to the system administrator do not seem to work. If you are unable to get attention do not move until a local drives up behind you and explain your need to them, they cannot get through unless they assist you to gain access first!
