Reflections of Chartres Lounge

The lounge Reflections of Chartres, a place of high technology greeting.

Located at the ground floor of the Maison du Saumon, this lounge, with a surface area of 89m², promotes the presentation and valorization of the touristy wealth, the local heritage and the leisure activity of the city. Through its furniture development and its audio-visual equipment, the lounge “Reflections of Chartres” completes the information missions of the Chartres Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, arousing the local or foreigner visitor’s curiosity.

The Lounge “Reflections of Chartres” proposes:

• The projection of short films about Chartres on a 70 inch LCD screen,

• The showing of temporary films of touristy information and promotion, on request, on 6 individual screens of medium size and on a 46 inches screen. The latter will be turned towards the glass doors and it will be possible to watch it from outside.
• 6 interactive tactile terminals or with keyboard presenting the different sites and touristy attraction of the city of Chartres.

The greeting of the Maison du Saumon and of the Tourism Office is located close to the lounge “Reflection of Chartres”. So that the visitor can have a privileged interlocutor to answer to his questions. This lounge hosts a permanent exhibition about Chartres and its assets, exhibition which will present different reflects of Chartres.
