Sculptures and stained glass bear testimony to the artistic output of the industrial revolution. Some of the greatest names feature there: Delacroix, Millet, Lenoir, Mercié, Viollet-le-Duc, Flandrin, Larivière, etc. The architecture is a work of art in its own right. Its Neo-Gothic style was the work of Lefranc and is a moving tribute to the eclectic tastes of the 19th century.
