Concert Millikan High School Choir

Renowned for the quality of its interpretations and the richness of its musical expression, the Millikan High School Choir makes a stopover in Chartres as part of its French tour. This California-based vocal ensemble has performed in prestigious heritage and spiritual venues around the world, winning over audiences with the finesse of its choral work and the emotion of its performances. The proposed program crosses eras and musical sensibilities, blending great pages of the sacred repertoire, American spirituals and contemporary choral works. Compositions by Maurice Duruflé, Sergueï Rachmaninov, Ola Gjeilo and Moses Hogan come together in a concert where vocal power and delicacy of interpretation meet.
